The staff did an amazing job of spoiling us throughout our stay. The guides knowledge of wildlife and the animals - both lion pride sightings and the cheetahs are highlights of our stay, but also the beautiful vistas seen at dawn and dusk.

Room for improvement: More hours in the day!

We are familiar with many different lodges all over Southern Africa and were really amazed and delighted with the beautiful design and location of Tswalu Lodge.  We had absolutely nothing to complain about, on the contrary: The staff were all very friendly and helpful (and at the same time unobtrusive), the cuisine was superb (which we had not expected), the rooms spacious and very tastefully decorated and had the advantage of a private terrace.  But best of all is unquestionably the Kalahari.  We were absolutely amazed at the wide variety of game, we enjoyed the excellent game drives and our compliments go to your excellent and experienced park rangers.  We were also pleasantly surprised by the fact that you still use trackers.  Our tracker offered us new surprises every day, the landscape of the Tswalu Reserve is gorgeous, and because of the desert wildlife it was also very pleasant to go on game drives at night, which in other areas can sometimes be rather boring.  Compliments to this lodge - a stay at Tswalu is really worthwhile!
