The Sanctuary Tswalu Touch combines the techniques of an Indian Face and Scalp Massage, Hot Stone Massage as well as Aromatherapy. This unique signature treatment promotes circulation, eases tension and relaxes tired muscles so you can drift away, effortlessly, in a deep, carefree sleep in a truly African environment using uniquely African products.

The Indian Face Massage is a natural “face lift” which works within the facial muscles to increase its natural elasticity and reduce lines and wrinkles caused by stress. At the same time the Indian Head Massage works on areas of mental stress and emotional fatigue. During the Hot Stone Massage, heat from the stones is released, increasing blood flow while specific problem areas can be worked on with more detail or deeper pressure. By improving circulation, nervous tension is soothed, which in turn improves memory and thinking clearly.

The Sanctuary Tswalu Touch uses Moya’s Stress Relief Oil throughout the treatment. The essential oils of Lavendin and Cape Chamomile, both endemic to Africa, will ensure you will be able to relax and unwind due to their intrinsic properties, which aid with the relief of stress and promote sleep.

African instruments are used to begin and end your treatment to add an aurally African dimension to your whole experience. As your treatment begins, an African Monkey Ball Rattle is used to welcome you. This is used to ease you into your treatment, while an African Rain Stick ends off The Sanctuary Tswalu Touch, awakening you back to the beautiful surroundings of the Kalahari Desert.

Your therapist can also assist and advise you to put together a personalised package. Any package of 3 or more treatments will result in a 10% discount.
During the summer months, you can also request a massage during your Game Drive Sundowners. Depending on availability, your therapist can join you on the game drive and perform your treatment while you enjoy the breathtaking Kalahari sunset.
