Deposit and Payment Policy

For all bookings a 25% deposit is required within 14 days of making a reservation.

Please note that a Reservation is not confirmed or secure until this deposit requirement has been met. Tswalu reserves the right to automatically release any accommodation being held where the required deposit has not been received within the stated period.

The balance of the accommodation and all transfers must be paid in advance and in full no later than one month prior to the guest’s arrival. Tswalu reserves the right to cancel the booking should payment not be received.

If a booking is made less than 30 days prior full payment is required.

All extra's to be settled at the lodge on departure.

Our cancellation policy is applicable regardless of whether payments have or have not been received by Tswalu.

NOTE: flight bookings are included in the definition of Bookings for the purposes of this agreement, and Tswalu’s cancellation policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY
90 - 46 days prior to arrival a 25% cancellation fee will apply
45 - 22 days prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee will apply
21 - 0 days prior to arrival a 100% cancellation fee will apply

GROUPS
45 - 22 days prior to a group, a final rooming list is required, together with payment in full for all contracted services.

Groups - any suites cancelled within the specified time frames will attract a cancellation fee.

TRAVEL CANCELLATION INSURANCE:
In the unlikely event of cancellation of a booking, travel insurance must cover our Cancellation Terms and Conditions.

We do offer a complimentary “meet & greet” service @ OR Tambo Int or at Cape Town Int. airports. Transfers to hotels etc are not included.

We suggest guests arrive no earlier than 1 hour prior to flight departures. Should they arrive early off an International flight in Johannesburg, we suggest they make use of the Premier lounge at the Intercontinental @ OR Tambo Int prior to coming to the hanger. We can arrange for the “meet & greet” service to fetch them from the Int. Continental.

Luggage allowance is 12kg’s in a soft sided bag. We do have lock up facilities for excess luggage to be kept in Cape Town or Johannesburg, for those returning to the same destination. Other arrangements will need to be made should your guests not be returning to the same destination i.e U-Bag or Courier service.

The charter flight prices are nett and non commissionable.
